The stomach flu is going around our house. Ugh! Davis and Dayton will be sick one day, enough to miss school, and then just fine the next day. Well, today I picked Davis up from school because he didn't feel well, but his symptoms were changing. Instead of feeling nauseous, he was just in pain. The pain was right where it should be for appendicitis so I took him to the doctor. He sent us to the hospital for a blood test which showed that it was a viral infection rather than a bacterial one. That meant....not appendicitis. Phew! Poor Davis missed the final race for the Ski & Snowboard Club the next day though. He felt fine, but I still wouldn't let him go. He was ok with it. His comment was, "It would suck to be on the mountain and crap my pants." That about sums it up.
