Unfortunately, this is no April Fool's joke. A battery pretty much exploded (like a soda that's been shaken) in Chance's face. He got it off his skin and his eye washed out but after a few minutes, the burning returned and we went to the ER. His cornea is scratched/burned and he's uncomfortable but he'll be fine in a day or two. No permanent damage or loss of sight. My poor pirate!
