I can't believe I am doing this. I feel so nervous because I don't actually know what I'm doing. I guess the best way to learn is just to jump in with both feet so here goes...
Yesterday was Grandma Hodgson's funeral and the kids and I were unable to be there because Sarah and I are too sick. I felt very bad that we couldn't be there for Chance. Not to mention the fact that I just hate being without him.
The kids and I did mostly nothing in the morning but after nap we got moving. We started doing housework and then Chance called. The funeral was over and he had been trying to nap before he hit the road but as usual, he couldn't sleep. So he decided to stay another night and come home early Sunday morning (today). So he should be here around 1:00.
But getting back to yesterday, after his call I decided to take the kids for a cone at Arctic Circle and then pick up a pizza for dinner. We had a fun time. I am going to try to post photos of the kids eating ice cream in the van. That's an adventure!
So this morning we have been cleaning even more because we love how much dad loves a clean house. Plus, if I don't get some laundry done we'll all be naked. That's it for today...the dust bunnies are calling.
